I was asked this by an executive in my company - Can someone make me a hero?

I only edit my Contacts in Outlook on my PC, and I only edit my ToDo on my PalmOS machine. Will a normal HotSynch bring the PC and the handheld up to date? Should I set the handheld-overwrites-PC flag?

Is there any solution besides turning off contacts, synching one way, turning on contacts and off ToDo and synching the other direction?

Using the PocketMirror software (included on the Handspring CD) does sync Outlook with the PDA.

Just to clarify... (1) do you only want the Contacts from Outlook sent to the PDA but not have other PDA Contacts sent to Outlook (ditto for ToDo)? Or, (2) do you want both Outlook and the PDA to contain everything? (this is the default behavior, by the way).

In scenario (1), I "think" you can set the Outlook conduit for Contacts to "Desktop overwrites Handheld" and the ToDo conduit to "Handheld overwrites Desktop" (Note: I have not personally tested this "theory"... perhaps someone else has and would care to comment)
