In general, horror stories with just about every mobile carrier are not a surprise. That said, Sprint is widely regarded as the absolute worst in terms of customer service and support. ATT next, then Verizon, then TMobile (which IMO is the best after experience with all 4).
Bear in mind I'm not talking about the network, reception, d/l speeds, etc., just customer service and support.

I have to agree with that. I must say that I am a very high maintenance mobile customer and have been with all of the major providers at one point or another. Like many people I have some great horror stories from just about all of them.
I am calling TMobile about something every week and when I get something that annoys my I wont let it rest. As an example I had reception problems with my t68 they ended up sending me 4 different phones, and a free upgrade. I even got a couple calls from the VP of Product Development to make sure that I was happy and to see if there was anything else they could do. Needless to say I was quite shocked to talk to this guy because of my petty but persistent problem.
Ive still had some frustrating issues, like with all providers, but I can almost always count on getting my call answered in about a minute by someone who seems like they give a crap about helping. Overall I am quite impressed, even if I occasionally dont get the results I want, they have been far better and far more consistent over the long run than any other company I have had to deal with.
