I can't get my Visor to download a rom image, can anyone lend me a hand in either finding one (not legal) or more legally (and better) helping me download my own from my Visor?

Check out the Handspring POSE page. There's an option to obtain one by email.

If you have a serial cradle, the POSE download includes the ROM Transfer utility. If all you have is a USB cradle, check out this thread about getting a ROM image using USB.

I cna't get my visor delux to go into debug-mode.
I do SC - dot - dot - 1and it doesn't work.
Does anyone have any ideas?

nope

I did thatand it doesn't seem to do anything in any screen I type it in... it either does absolutly nothing or beeps quietly at each character.
