memplug problem

I'm thinking of buying a mem-plug compactflash module. But I have a question:
Can I use memplug to install software by first moving the software to a compactflash card via compactflash reader, then install by memplug? Thanks for your help.

yes. i do it all the time with my SM memplug, esp when I have a lot of things to install on it.
