Got my stylus last night from pda panache..
I must say it's MUCH better than the POS I got with my VD.. I don't like how it sticks out of the top just a bit, but it is much heavier, the tip is bright orange (and much nicer than the plastic thingie)....
Def reccomend it, especially since it was only $15.

I have this stylus also. It is a really nice stylus, but mine constantly is getting stuck in the Visor and I have to pry it out. Be warned, if you have this stylus, do not push the stylus all the way down into the Visor! You may have a heck of a time getting it out! I just push it in lightly which is enough to hold it in firmly, but through handling, it always settles in too deep and is tough to get out.

Received my "nail" stylus from PDA Panache today. Its black with orange tip and if you unscrew the nailhead, there is a reset pin underneath. Makes me want to do a hard reset! I like the nail head as it allows for easier removal without having to get your thumb under the visor like with the oem. I recommend this one.
One note to beaker: Mine will not get stuck if I push it in all the way although it stays put and won't fall out either. Just fyi, you may have a warranty issue with either the stylus or handspring.
P.S. I also still recommend the Rotring Quad-data as an awesome piece of work.

Apologies if this is the wrong topic...but I have a stylus question. I hear about the awful stylus that comes standard with the Visor. I happen to have a dead Palm III and was wondering if I could safely use the stylus which came with that on my new Visor (when it arrives). Thanks in advance.
Yes, you can safely use the III stylus. It is MUCH better than the Visor stylus. Unfortunately it will not fit in the Visor's stylus slot, so it will not be a very convenient solution. (I wish it were, I have two or three extra Palm III stylus laying around.)

Thank you, tyler! These discussion boards have been really helpful and interesting to me, and I don't even have my Visor yet! I'm very glad to know about the stylus problems--I'd hate to scratch my screen if I could avoid it.
