Hi, I need to purchase a deluxe visor and modem in bay area. Does any know which staple or CompUSA in bay area carries visor product?? I would appreciated if someone can share with me regarding this info. Thanks.

I purchased my blue visor deluxe at the comp usa in concord. I also got the tiger woods module at Staples in Pleasent Hill. Both these locations are in the east bay. I am sure all of the other comp usa's and staples carry them because handspring's headquarters is in the Bay Area. Also if you want to check the availability of products you can go to Compusa.com. I hope this helps.

I wouldn't be so sure about the availability of Visors in the Bay Area just because HS headquarters are here. I went to the Staples in Mountain View a couple of weeks ago, and the selction was poor (2 standard Visors), and there was no display.

I would call any store before making a special trip.

I bought mine Saturday at the CompUSA on Market St. in San Francisco. Not the easiest store to get to with a car (parking is pretty much non-existant), but they had all the colors available. I'm now the proud owner of a lovely green Visor !! I was disappointed that only the graphite were on display. Seems like their missing a major marketing opportunity. Some of us really do care how things look (do they really think people would pay $500 for a PalmV if it didn't look so cool?).
