An NDA is a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Basically, companies use them to protect their intellectual property rights before a product somes to market. Usually, when you sign an NDA, you are prohibited from talking about features of a given product until such time as they are formally announced to the public. Beta testers are often required to sign an NDA.
