Cool

My brother Davis's favorite Springboard is the Eyemodule (since he is a photographer). Alas, his Rhodiana case will not accommodate the Eyemodule.

So he modified the case.

He cut two pieces of black nylon webbing (straps) about 1 inch wide and two inches long.
He used leatherworking tools to attach snaps to them.
At one end was the male end of a snap facing up, at the other was a female end facing down.
Snap one strap to each snap on the back of the Rhodiana, and snap the other end of the strap to the flip-top.

The effect is to give enough slack to the clear top of the case so it will go over the Eyemodule.

It is also suggested to cut a hole in the clear top for the Eyemodule lens.

It works great, though it does make getting the stylus difficult, and one cannot quite hit the button on the top of the Eyemodule.

Exclamation

I really don't see how could you make the EM2 fit after the modifications. If you have the EM2 could you update the pictures? Also what do you do with the filp cover? I guess you will have to hold it to view the screen, right?

Thanks

Al

PS: where did you get those snaps?

Cool

Alas, neither he nor I have the EM2. Yet.
I'm not sure if this will work with EM2 due to the lens pointing down, but it might.

The snaps were obtained at a store that sold leatherworking hobby supplies (probably a now defunct Tandy Leathercraft)

The flip cover is the same place it always was. It's a Rhodiana case, the cover sort of folds back over your hand.
The Rhodiana has a transparent plastic band that goes over the top of the Visor. The modification allows the band to bulge up higher, so as to create space for the EM lens.
