ok i don't even have my visor yet, but i have a few qestions.
2 I have a iMac or macintosh and am used to the system interface. I have used a program called Kalidescope to change how the interface looks before (for windows users this is the equivalant to a Scheme) and i want to change the look of my Visor to a mac type look. ive seen things called skins but am afriad to use them in case i skrew it up. also i don't even know what exactally it will do. can somone tell me a programe or a couple of programs that can change this?
2. y can't u upgrade? is there a hardware or system hack i can do (i can pop in a new g4 chip into my old powermac 6160 will i be able to to my new Visor?) or is microsoft planning to use windows CE on the mac anytime soon?
3. can i progam C++ or any other language on the Visor? and if so can i maake that program run on the Visor without having to hotsync' around?

1) The book "PalmPilot: The Ultimate Guide vol 2 (with CD)" has a palm emulator that runs on a PC. I'm not sure about a Mac version. I've downloaded many programs to check them out without my Visor.

I havn't seen any "skins" for a palm system.

Palm programs are developed in C. I asked the folks over at the Development discussion how to get started in Palm Programming and I got some really good answers. You might want to copy down and look at those same sources.

Also, the folks on the Development discussion have said that they'd like to get into some real in-deapth programming talk. So that might be a great place to hang out.

Hope it helps.

Currently the Palm OS Emulator (POSE) does not work with the Visor. Handspring hopes to have a ROM that works with it eventually.
