Multiple users

I'm setting up 40 Nursing students with Visors and would like them to be able to Hotsync at home and at the school's computer lab, How many users will the desktop palm software tolerate? How does Backupbuddy deal with multiple users?

Any thoughts/advice appreciated.

Although there is no mention of a user limit, Handspring support has this regarding multiple palm desktop profiles...

"How do I ensure that my data goes to the right Palm Desktop user profile and handheld device?

If you have multiple users synchronizing multiple handhelds to a single desktop computer, you have the potential to accidentally get data in the wrong place.

The key is to make sure you're using the right user profile when you're entering data into the Palm Desktop application. Look in the upper right corner of the Palm Desktop menu bar: you should see a pull down box labeled User. Before you enter any data into the Palm Desktop application, make sure this box shows the right user name. If it doesn't, simply click on the pull down box and choose the user name that corresponds to the profile you want to use."

Taken from page 14 of their online user manual.

BackupBuddy allows multiple users, but their, "license policy is that one license entitles a user to backup one organizer."
