the siemens S35i or Nokia 6210

and what programs can i use to navigate ?

Don't know too much about surfing through the IRport with a cell phone...
But you may want to take a look at the motorola Tri-band models. They have IR ports too and work on ANY GSM-network...
Very practically if you travel...
