And here I thought aluminum foil was a really silly idea... Glad it helped. I haven't found a better solution, but the happy thing for me is, I don't need it. Strangely,reception in my neighborhood went from really iffy to pretty good. The first week and a half, I *might* have gotten reception if I stood by the window, hence the tin foil. All of a sudden, I had no problem getting connected. I could even get solid reception in my bedroom (surfing in bed, woohoo!), when previously I couldn't get any signal at all. So what is it? Did they build a new tower? Fix a busted one? Sunspots? Whatever it is, I hope it stays fixed. Good luck on your antenna hunt. Post your solution if you find one. I might still need it some day.
