Can anyone please tell me how u download news from CNN or stockquotes and view it in a portfolio on your handspring???

I'm not sure this is the response you were looking for, but are you familar with avantgo? http://www.avantgo.com They offer downloads of a large number of web sites.

I'm fairly sure Bloomberg.com offers a page through avantgo that includes stock portfolios and stock quotes. I don't recall a CNN page, but New York Times and USA Today are available for download.
