When I download a sample of an application (think DB) for eg. it only shows up on my visor. How do I get it to show up on my desktop? The same thing occured with Handyshopper. Its on my visor but I can't open it on my desktop.

I use ThinkDB. There is a separate program that is installed on the desktop. It's been a while but i think you have to d/l it from their web site.

Are you asking why you can't run software from your desktop? If so, the answer is you can't. Palm OS software only runs on Palm OS devices. SOME programs come with a second program that runs on your PC. These two programs then 'talk' to each other, but they are distinctly separate programs.
