I say we forget all this whining and waiting, and start cracking jokes.

Here we should post our Visor/ Handspring Ironies and jokes that we see or hear while talking to the people on the phone all day.

Irony for 10/7:
I am actually on hold right now, and the elevator music I am listening to is an instrumental version of the Police's "SOS" (I'll send an SOS to the world..) How is that for the sign all you sceptics have been looking for?

Post all you funny Handspring experiences here. That way we can all laugh as we look out the window for the UPS guy...

Yah, but right now I'm not looking out my window for the UPS guy. I'm looking at Outlook Express my damned e-mail confirmation.

That's The Spirit! Vent those feeling into a wonderful joke about how hand will spring into action to check the email! (please forgive my puns...I am a Journalism major at UGA....)

(oh, and now they are playing "Can you feel the love tonight" ... the plot thickens)

License server is back up, but now there is a generic "having difficulties" page.

Hey guys! Heads up!

1. Visor will make a great eastern gift too!

2. Visor - the technology of 2001 - delivered 2001!

3. Visor will be the first PDA on Mars (mission indefinitely delayed)

4. Hurry, http://www.visorjokes.com is still available.

5. I ordered a transparent Visor - how do I know if I received it already?

6. Handsprings on-hold tunes are now changed to Fools rush in...

7. Handspring want to send out the confirmation emails, but don't know where to fix the stamp.

(sorry, I know for most of you guys its not funny)

This looks like as good a place as any to post some of the really lame... no, cool Springboard concepts I've devised:

The Cigarette Lighter springboard -
You should also consider getting the Cigarettes springboard to get the most out of the Cigarette Lighter springboard.

(coming soon: the Nicarette springboard)

The Cheese Grater springboard -
Gotta love a PDA that can prep your pizzas.

The Visor Adapter Springboard -
Let's you run another Visor off your Visor. Endless Visor fun offered through unlimited daisy-chaining of Visors!

The Car Visor Extender Springboard -
Great accessory for those really sunny days.

300 Baud Modem springboard -
For anyone looking to relive the online days of yore. Think 33.6K is slow? Think again!

The Battery Operated springboard -
Batteries ARE included!

EDITED TO INCLUDE EVEN MORE!

The Spam springboard -
Like Spam? Then this is the springboard for you.

The WireFULL springboard -
Gives you lots and lots (and LOTS) of wires. You figure out what to do with them.

The Cap'n Crunch springboard -
Yum!

The Bifocal springboard -
Now you can finally throw those glasses away.

The Meeting springboard -
Now your Visor can go to meetings without you! Actually, this one is not so crazy...

Zippy,

just to inform you, your Visor Deluxe is now delayed to July 2004 to incorporate your desired springboards.

PS: Will the Cheese Grater springboard work with low fat cheese?

Cool

I also heard the elevator version of "Message in a Bottle." Are they trying to tell us something? Maybe we shouldn't be looking at Outlook for our order confirmations.

Or maybe they'll be releasing an order confirmation springboard.

Maybe that's the problem...They sent us all "ice" email confirmations, and we just can't see them!!!
