I agree... I think Innogear should concentrate on getting the Springboard standard down before they start messing around with MemoryStick. It amounts to more Vaporware for their press releases...

that's unfortunate

Overall, my impressions and experiences with Innogear have been positive. They have been responsive when I have inquired, and I haven't had any problems with their products.

I hope the challenges you've had don't re-occur.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I really don't find myself caring that much about Innogear's product delays, poor customer service, etc. I'm waiting until I see their products, and if they make something really useful then I won't hesitate to buy it. I won't hold my breath for the Six-Pak, but if it is ever released, and is a lot better than my ThinModem, then I'll probably get one. Whatever, just my take on the situation.

Well we've spent quite a bit of time with InnoGear at Comdex, and every person that I have spoken to tells me that the 6P is a priority. The InnoDrive/MS came to be after the last show when Sony approched IG about a memory stick module. The module wasn't too difficult to make and is actually working already. They just need to work on the software part.

I have a great interview coming up with their director of software development and we talk a lot about the sixpak and innodrive.

I just want the USB speedloader & File Storage on my MJ.

I've had good experiences as well with Innogear.
I can't complain, and infact in this day and age, (where poor service is the norm) they have been excellent with me.
(sorry to hear others have had problems with them)

I am just (patiently) waiting for the USB speedloader, and a software update to the minijam to allow program/database/Etc. storage on the MMC cards.

(hey Innogear, I hope this is comming real soon!!! Please!)

The Sony memory stick adaptor looks promising! But I think a Compact Flash (supporting memory, modems, devices, etc..) adaptor would be of greater use to me.

Didnt Innogear already get flamed to death like a dozen times.

There is only one standing rule of thumb that applies to innogear : "I will believe it when I am holding it in my hand." If they say that they've got a memory stick springboard. Great. Wonderful. But utterly bullsh*t until I have it in my hand. The six-pack for example does not exist. And anyone who says anything differiently is a fool. It will continue to not exist until innogear can provide sufficient proof that it does exist. Much like extra terestrials and bigfoot ; anything is possible but for the most part utter bullsh*t until sufficient proof can be provided. I have nothing against innogear. I am sure that their products are great. I dont own any of their products yet. With the exception of the minijam (which a friend of mine purchased) they dont make anything useful. Hopefully they will make something useful soon.
