Hey all,
I dont know who wants to hear this, and personally, I'm pretty tired of flames too but I just thought I'de mention it.
From VisorCentral News:
quote: Innogear announced their Innodrive family of Springboard modules. Innodrive/MS, shipping Q2, adds Memory Stick expansion capability to the Visor. We got our hands an a working sample, and when combined with a Sony Memory Stick it works similar to the Handspring 8MB expansion module. A preview of this module will come later this week.
OK, bought a Visor Deluxe the day that you could order them, since then I've had maybe 4 Dlx's and I'm on my 2nd Prism as of now. I've been a big fan and faithfull to Handspring. And I think its great to see that springboard modules are finally trickling out. But what is the deal with Innogear. Now, they are a company known for its countless deadlines and false promises. Now that they've finally got their MiniJam out after months of pre-orders and support problems, they should be working on the SixPac, a product promised over a year ago, and now they're working on the Innodrive, the company needs to get their focus straight and get solid products out. Yes! they've got great ideas, and yes there have been industry wide component shortages, but their product execution is terrible and fundamentaly flawed.
I dont know, thats just my opinion, anyone else want to comment?
