I just received a Stowaway for Father's Day and my initial reaction is that the keyboard is very much like the keyboard on my old IBM Thinkpad 701C which was very usable. It is a shame that they didn't provide a slide in bar or something to make it more stable when typing on one's lap (perhaps for release 2).
It is a nice keyboard and very handy for typing notes and getting ideas down. I don't think I'd want to spend all day on it as it isn't as solid as a real keyboard (imho).
It is also a shame that is doesn't come with any software as the GoType does for memos over 4K. I downloaded the trial for several and spent the afternoon trying them out (as I've got meetings next week and would just as soon not carry a bulky laptop if I can avoid it). Of those I tried (take note, pedit, and smartdoc) I liked Smartdoc the best so far and I will probably register it by the end of the week if it works as well in the 'real' world as it did in my testing.
Just my $0.01 for your review.
