I bought the Xircom GSM connection kit and realised that it is a 16bit data cable. The port for the springport is 32bit. Will there be any problems in using the two together??any comments appreciated.

gsm connection kit GSMCK2 NOK-3

i'm not sure if this is the same model that you're using, but...the xircom gsm connection kit that i use (gsmck2nok3) to connect my springport modem to my nokia 6190 has given me no problems at all.

fyi...the label on this kit states that it is compatible with nokia 51xx and 61xx phones.
