Arrow

I want a case for my Prism/Minstrel combo. The leather case that came with the Minstrel with the Omnisky logo on it is aesthetically pleasing and offers some protection for the screen, but it lacks some other functionality that I seek. I like cases that have a fold-back cover that will allow me to use the Prism/Minstrel still firmly attached to the case. (maybe even with an elastic strap to go around my hand). Any such animal out there? Anyone with plans/ideas for a homemade one?

Looking for case also

I am currently using a camera belt case. Its too big but works well. It is made by http://www.lowepro.com and is the D-res 20AW model. It has plenty of room for modules and the Prism with OmniSky but still is big.
I would like a case made from leather like the Palm VII case made by Lizell.com but it needs to big 1" higher and 1/2 " wider. Wish I could find a company that would make one???

EB Cases was supposed to come out with a flip case that holds the prisim and the cell phone, but they pushed it back until next month.

Hopefully it will also fit the minstrel.

Arrow arg, post deletion does NOT function

Okay, saw the picture. If the case is really like the picture, yes, that is what I'd like. Sorry for the confusion.

P.S.

Fix the post deletion function on this site!

I e-mailed them last week and they replied that the Slipper case for Prism/VisorPhone will not fit the Prism/Minstrel. They will have another "pouch" type case for this combination sometime in Dec.

Too bad, I would have preferred a Slipper type case for this.

Has anyone found a company making a "flip-slipper-type" case for the VDX/VPL with a Minstrel S? I need in-case sync with belt-clip, and holes for IR, Reset, and Power on/off. It seems to me that the Vaja would be perfect if it accepted a Minstrel S and had an opening at the bottom for in-case syncing.

Talking Finally a case for Prism and OmniSky Modem!

Ok, I ordered the new Black sport case from Handspring.com, under their phone acc. area.
Its constructed nice, I like the materials (neoprene like) but it is snug. Not that its a bad thing, it comes out fairly easily, but its a tight fit.
Antenna slot works well, handspring logo on front is raised plastic letters and the belt strap is a nylon strap with plastic coupler.
All in all I would give it a 4 of out 5, mainly because its really the first, small, case that I have found that works!

Will post pictures later.

Jim
