I am posting in order to ask you to send an email to Frank Loeffler at Handspring. he is the director of Internet Marketing for the Visor. If we all would send him an email expressing our concerns, perhaps we'd get an official statement regarding the lack of updates from Handspring. I am not complaining that I don't have a Visor in my hand, only that we have not been given any concrete information. We were told that we would get confirmation of our orders and shipping information LONG AGO. It's time handspring lets us in on the goings on. I saw myself looking twice at offers for a Plam IIIx for $218 and a Plam V for $293. I do not want these devices, but I don't know where Handspring is at in their distribution! At the bottom is Frank's email address, click the link and fire off a short email. They need to know that we are tired of being in the dark.

Thanks to Happyboy for this email information and for piquing my irritation.

As did I. I would IMPLORE people, though, to be very polite. One flame will put a bad taste in someone's mouth...and will likely make more of an impression than a hundred polite letters. Believe me, making someone furious is not what the 'VisorCentral community' (if such a thing exists) needs to do.

Everyone please be careful and don't flood this guy with too many emails. I want him working on getting the Visors out the door, not reading emails.

Received a reply from Mr. Loeffler. I see that it is listed in another thread. He essentially states to call customer service at 888-565-9393 for order status and shipping date information. He has other duties that do not include soothing our shipping anxiety.

Sent one anyways! Maybe he's not responsible for this type of customer service, but perhaps with enough inquiries, he will pass the questions on to someone who is! Remember, "the squeaky wheel get's the oil"

Hello,

Our products begin shipping later in October.

For order status and shipping date information - please call our toll free customer service line at 888-565-9393. They have the most recent shipping information. I'm responsible for Internet marketing activities (such as graphical interface design, banner advertising, etc.).

Thank you,

Frank Loeffler
