So where does that leave us?

It's no problem (relatively speaking) to upload HTML from a Visor to a web site. But it would be really slick if there was a way to get jpegs from a camera, into the Visor, and upload those, too.

Without Jetsend, how do we do that?

Jetsend will not be the answer to putting jpegs onto the visor. Most digicams are not HP's and JetSend is a proprietary protocol just for HP cameras and printers. What we really need, is a way to get them off of the memory card itself. I think the best way to do this would be using Memplug, either CF or SM.

Does anybody know if you can copy non .pdb and .prc files from CF using Memplug? I know with FAFileMover you can't even see non .pdb and .prc files.

Also, now that I think about it, the problem with not being able to upload the full picture to my webserver may not be due to a problem with LFtp but rather JetSend. Maybe JetSend isn't sending the whole picture. I mean HP's website hardly even mentions a Palm OS version of JetSend (everything's Pocket OS). Maybe it was too buggy for them to support fully, who knows.

What we really need is a way to either upload directly from CF/SM/MMC or be able to copy to Visor RAM and then upload.

Question

I've been reading this thread with great interest because I'm looking for a way to update my website from my visor. I've got Torpedo and LFtp and Palmscape but my problem is I don't have any clue how to download a page from my website, edit it in Torpedo, and then upload it. Actually I can CREATE a file and upload it to my website with no problem, it's just getting the files down to my Visor. One suggested solution was to copy the html source to the memo pad from my desktop which would work but kind of defeats the purpose. If I'm at my desk with enough time to copy the source and hotsync it then I could just as easily update the website from the desktop. Does anyone have any suggestions?
