I still wait patiently on my VDx. My credit card has two authorizations for $228(?) that were put there on Monday, but I have had no luck getting through on the customer support line this week. I first found it a little irritating that the number was not toll free. I know that toll free lines cut into the bottom line, but in this industry customer support should be a priority. Then getting cut off after 2 hours on hold kinda sucked when I thought about the money I will spend for nothing on my next phone bill.
Today I decided to try one more time. Now it seems that Handspring answers, plays the message about how important I am, then clicks me over to a busy signal. Please insert another quarter to continue..... If you are going to cut people off, why not do it before they are charged an initial connect fee. I would consider cancelling my order, but the phone charges necessary to do it would probably just make the whole deal a wash. I really hope that this transaction turns out ok, but I must say I now have my doubts.
