I'm on hold, and they're playing an easy listening version of Synchronicity II by the Police. One of the lyrics in the song is "Many miles away, there's a shadow on the door..." Maybe it's the shadow of the UPS guy with my Visor!

Agreed that the male voice needs to be toned down, but here is an observation...If you get the male voice, you are in an "outer cueue". Once you get to the female voice, the time spent in queue is fairly short. If you ever get to the female voice, don't hang up! You're almost there! BTW Handspring, I don't need a canned voice to tell me that I'm in the queue...I've got bloody music playing in my ear! I know that I haven't been disconnected! Tell me once or twice and that is enough!

i would agree. The male voice is the long term wait queue. I know, I have gotten him a couple times.

We I called the other day, I spent a total of four hours on hold. The first call, right around the time this message queue was started. Lasted about an hour, but I had a call I had to take.

the second attempt, when ChrisB asked if I was still on hold. That one lasted two hours, until the line went to a dial tone. Irked me a bit.

Then, about 2 hours later, I tried again, and was on hold for 1 hour. I just wanted to add some stylii to my order.

I am still waiting for mine to ship. I just want my order before thanksgiving. Actually, I want it now... but...
