Mail conduit lost

I have just installed AvantGo and it seems to have removed my Mail conduit from my computer. I have tried to reinstall it by running the Mail Setup Tool, but this simply tells me that I have the Mail conduti defaulted to do nothing.

Any suggestions on how to return the Mail Conduit to the Hotsynch list?

I synch with Outlook Express.
