Hi,
I'm a corporate I.S. type. We use Windows NT workstation, server, we have a RAS server, MS Exchange Server and Outlook 98. Some of the executives use the Visor with serial cradle to synch e-mail with the Outlook '98 running on their desktop computer. One of the guys has a Prism with modem and he says it can connect directly to my RAS server and download e-mail without using a laptop.

Is this real? Does the Palm OS have a client that can authenticate to RAS and to the NT (4.0) network to get e-mail? Thanks.

Yes, this works just fine. I use it quite often.

You might what to check out this Adobe Acrobat file from Palm. It describes in detail how to setup dialup networking on the Palm OS, and how to Hotsync via a modem.
