Lightbulb

I would really like a louder alarm on my Visor.

Are there any developers who would like to look at producing a loud Alarm springboard.

We could either just give the wiring details out on the net or maybe produce them commercially. I would be happy to do marketing.....but I haven't an idea about programming or electronics.

It could be the cheapest available spingboard! and one of the most useful!

Martin.

A louder alarm. That's the one thing I envy the TRG-Pro for.

I wish the makers of the vibrating alarm springboards would give up on the puny 2MB memory expansion responsible for all the delays and high prices and simply put a better speaker in the module.

6-Pack's Voice Recorder

Isn't one of the 6-Pack's abilities a "Voice Recorder" app? This automatically made me think I could set louder alarms - w/either my voice (like: "Don't forget the meeting, Bozo!), or like, a passing fire truck (or even my home alarm clock, which is plenty loud).

Yeah, I know / of course, InnoGear hasn't exactly been stellar on their delivery dates ... but, supposedly, the 6-Pack (at "under $200" - so count on $199, right?) is due at the end of the month.

I guess we can all hold our breath until then

Oh yeah - even if they screw us (again), isn't there another voice module out already? Like $50 for 8min. of voice? It might do the trick...

Last resort: I hear the $45 2/V Innogear SB "vibrates really hard" - so you may be able to, say, set it on your desk, or a hard wood floor when you sleep - and the vibrations may clatter loudly enough to wake you, for ex. Maybe even stick it in a metal bowl!

(Hey, WE have to InnoVate, if InnoGear, et al. do not, right?
