Looks like those of us who ordered a Visor ahead of time might not be able to change our orders to include the $15 5 pack of coloured stylus pens.

There's no way in hell I'm going to pay 8.50 for shipping on a $16 item.

Does anyone, or a bunch of people actually, want to go in on a few packs and we can distribute those later? I'm just kinda peeved that they want to charge you over 50% of the item cost just in shipping. I've paid enough for the machine, I'm not going to dilute it by getting another case, game, etc.

Just wondering if anyone was interested. If so, drop me a line.

I am waiting for my Graphite Visor Deluxe. I would be interested in joining your "stylus co-operative" and reserve the black stylus.

I wasn't speaking on dividing up the entire pack, but I'm sure that would work too.

Basically I want a bunch of people to all want an entire pack so we can end up paying 1-2 bucks each in shipping.

I could order say 5 packs of 5 colour stylus and ship them out to people on here for the ~$1 it would really take to ship them, plus whatever the shipping would cost from handspring divided up among everyone.

Let me know before you order.

I would definitely be interested. But what would be the cost of shipping each stylus individually? Wouldn't that cost offset the bunch of us paying for the initial shipping?

If we get enough takers (1 for each stylus or if anyone wants more than one color), the S&H costs should work out to about $ 3 per person.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, the original poster was discussing entire 5-packs of unopened stylii. That way, he could order say, eight stylus multi-packs, and pay a much lower shipping rate. As far as shipping afterwards goes, he could always send them out USPS Priority Mail - usually does the job within 2-3 days, they deliver on Saturday, and it's only like $3.60 per order, not $8.50 or $11.50.

My question is this - why do they make you buy all the colors in one pack? Why not have, say, 3 packs of each color? I know I won't want an orange one for my blue Visor...

I was originally planning to just get a bunch of 5 packs and distributing them that way. It's only really 15 bucks and the purpose is to knock down shipping with enough people to bring it to about ~$2 shipping or so.

I wouldn't mind trying to logistically break up a few packs to sell individual styli, but I think there'll be too many people wanting either blue or black and then a bunch of ice/orange and greens left over. I kinda want a few different colours to further depict my mood for whatever reason, and however that may allow

Anyway, I guess I'd like to stick with full 5 packs, unless someone else would be willing to coordinate individual stylus sales.

I'd like to try to order by later in the week, so if we can get at least 5-6 people interested (myself included) that would probably work out. I would go see how much the shipping would be then, but they took their store down.

Being one of the wierd people who ordered an ORANGE visor, I would be interested in a couple of orange styli, but don't think I need 5 of em, more like 2 or 3. So if there are a few people breaking up their packs or just simply don't want their orange ones, my email is [email protected]

That's the cool thing about purchasing an "Ice" colored visor. All of the stylus colors will match. Hmmm. I wonder what color the plastic stylus included will be.

BTW, assuming that I can't add them on to my order when I get an email confirmation (I ordered my later, on Sept 30) I would be interested in going in with you on a 5-pack purchase BizEchilD. Could you post another message up here a day or so before you place the order?

I'd take a black, blue or ice.

I thought it was kind of obnoxious that it only came in the rainbow flavor!

Does anyone know if the 5 pack stylii comes with the built-in screwdriver as originally planned. Also will the pilot pentopia chamellion fit in the visor

dabirk, i read the other day (can't remember where) that someone who had won a visor at internet world tried the pentopia chameleon and it didn't work...they said the visor swallowed it...i'm not familiar with that stylus but sounds like its too small. as for the screw driver/stylus i believe that the handspring site (when it was fully operational) said that isn't available yet but will be soon. sounds like everything else they are selling

I just want one. I need one metal stylus to replace the one they send me. I don't want a pack, and I don't care what color it is, so I don't want to pay 15 buck for a 5 pack when I simply want to replace the one that comes with my visor. If someone doesn't need 5, could you maybe sell it to me (slip the thing in a envelope and put a stamp on it for all I care) I just don't need a full pack. Please email me if you can spare just one ([email protected]) (any color...I can paint the thing if I just can't stand it. I just want the metal/reset tool)

If anyone will divide out a blue, I'll pay 7 dollars for it to cover the cost of shipping it to me and the price of the styli. It should be shippable for 35 cents in an envelope. I'll pay cash, money order, whatever - and I'll send you the money ahead of time. Any takers?

OK folks, it seems there are a number of yall out there who are interested in a single stylus of various colors. As I too want an Ice stylus, (the reset pin is your friend) but dont need five of the bloody things (I have yet to loose the one I have for my Palm III) I would be willing to cordinate the effort for those of you who wish to get a single stylus.
