Question Stay on in Cradle

I've just switched from a Palm Vx to a Visor Edge (the Palm was fine, but it was company-supplied and I'm changing jobs) ...

Anyway, the Visor preferences menu DOESN'T have the "Stay on in Cradle" facility that the Palm had - I assume this is because the Visor has an older version of Palm OS, and yes, I know I'm stuck with that.

Does anyone know of a hack that adds this facility?

thanks,

Brent

(and whose stupid idea was it to make it so DIFFICULT to put the stylus back on????)

ok, answered my own question - freeware called OnCradleOn from PalmGear ...

moral of the story: search before asking question ...

I never thought it was that hard.

it doesn't help that I'm left-handed - the design of Visor Edge means I have to either put the stylus back with my right hand (having first swapped it from my left hand, where I was originally holding it, simultaneously swapping the Edge from right hand to left hand, not dropping either) - try THAT while standing on a moving train - surely exactly the kind of environment pdas were designed for - or close the cover, turn the Edge upside down and put it back with my left hand (having tried it a few times now, the second is better)

whereas a Palm V has a stylus slot on both sides (the left one can be liberated by switching the otherwise-useless flop-flap from left to right side)
