-- Cloning HS 8MB Flash RAM Module to Thinmodem+ 8+/-MB Flash RAM (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=13292)
Friends,
The tips and info on is this forum are without equal (superlative, that is). Perhaps someone can answer this question:
Is there a way to "clone" the contents of your HS 8MB Flash RAM Module to the 8+/- MB Flash RAM the comes with the ThinModem + from CardAccess. If so, I think they have a sale here.
This would be important for someone who travels, has critical apps and reference DBs on the HS 8MB module, and needs them while on line. Here, I am talking about apps besides the internet apps like mail and browsers, etc. Obviously one would want to develop a procedure for keeping the modules synced up, too.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Well, it's nothing automated, but I saw some people post that the USBFileMover app will at least copy files FROM the 8MB Flash, if not to the Springboard. You could put in the 8MB Flash Springboard, copy everything to a directory on your desktop, then put in the Thinmodem+ and copy everything over there.
Like I said, not automated, and not something you would want to do all the time.
