I just bought a prism and I noticed that every now and then the screen flickers. sort of like when you increase the brightness. its not because of the contrast. just wondering if this is normal? thanks

Heya,

My third Prism has the same problem, but it is not very noticeable. The Down arrow is not working that well either, so I am going to return it to Staples and purchase a forth Prism directly from Handspring this time. Just out of curosity, did you buy your Prism online or at a store? All Best Buy and Staples seems to have are defective Prism's. I hope that one directly from HS will not have any bugs, and at least they will save me the driving if I get yet another bad one.

Yes, I bought my prism at CompUSA. But, right after I posted this topic I decided to try a warm reset and it seems to have fixed the problem. I haven't seen it flicker since. I'm guessing that it was a conflict with an app running in the background as to which one I don't know and since I have re-enabled everything and I'm still not seeing any flicker I hope it stays that way. Thanks for the reply
