Look at the pic in this article http://www.visorcentral.com/article.php3?id=45&pv=1 is that a color display or just the light hitting the visor at a strange angle?

I see it too. Red and blue bands across the title bar.

Anyone have any ideas?

Just looks like light hitting the screen to me.

Its is obviously the regular visor. Doesn't look like a color unit to me.

WOW! That really looks like red and blue title bars.

The rest of the screen looks too "regular" to be a color visor, though, so it must be the way the light hit it or something.

Maybe it's the screen protector.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but those are both colors the screen can appear to be from different angles. That's a normal visor.

(Besides, James or Marcus is taking the picture, so don't you think they'd tell us if there were a color visor?)

Do you really think that we would have put a pic of a color Visor deep within an article?

It's just a result of reflections and us trying to adjust the brightness of the picture.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. Reflections and all, I still had the thought of "WOW, Look there's a COLOR Visor!!!!"

And, now I find myself trying to get my Visor to reflect color, just to see what it'll be like when they do actually make one.

Has anyone heard any rumors on when the color visor will be coming out? (I'm assuming the announcement at PC Expo did not include any expected shipping dates, but maybe someone has heard something on the gossip circuit.)

When they do come out with one, I hope it's better than the Palm's version. I played with a working demo unit last week, and honestly felt I wasn't missing anything...way to "pixelly". The real downside for me, though, is that I hear it's virtually useless in the sunshine. The standard black 'n' white LCD was made for bright light.
