Is there a module update for the Total Recall Voice Recorder?

I've just got a Targus Total Recall module and I was wondering if there is an update for the module software. The one I have has Voice v. 1.07R and DSP v. 1088. I think I saw somewhere that this modules has colors, anybody?

So far I like this module.

It all started way back in February 2000 with a Blue VDX.

I have another question? Is it possible to record at medium quality if the module is outside the Visor? I've tried, It looks like it doesn't. Anybody?
