- How To / Troubleshooting (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/forumdisplay.php?forumid=2)
-- On the subject of E-Text, Doc and similar files: (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=1566)
I am honestly suprised at how hyped I am to be getting a Visor soon... I have since, in anticipation for it downloaded many Palm Pilot programs...
My question is this, I found a -wonderful- resource of PDA texts and such at www.memoware.com and got immediately giddy at the notion of my Visor having the works of T.S. Eliot, Dante, Wilde, etc etc easily at my reach!
The formats of the files are: .prc and .pdb
What would I get to be ready to read them? I got something called Teal Doc Viewer? I think that is what its called.
Any suggestions?
A .PRC file is usually a program and a .PDB file is a database file. (Probably a DOC file so you will need a DOC reader like AportisDoc, TealDoc or CSPOTRUN (free).)
You may also want to checkout http://www.peanutpress.com they have a good selection of current ebooks that you can buy inexpensively.
I read ebooks on my pilot (an upgraded Pilot 1000) constantly and can't wait to get the visor so that I get the better screen quality and the additional storage space.
