This is for all of you awaiting your case from the early days of the web page of Oct. 6th.

I spoke with Sandy Torres, yesterday, who is in charge of Handspring Customer Service based out of Mountain View. Here is the skinny:

Custom Cases will probably be delayed for another 2+ weeks due to concentration of getting out the Visor units themselves.

Generic cases may be able to start shipping prior to the above time frame but Sandy did not want to commit to a specific date. This is understandable given the issues surrounding the early problems etc.

I'd say that the best thing we could all do is leave Handspring alone for a while unless you ordered a Visor before the end of September. If you ordered in October then you really shouldn't be having a problem until after 6 weeks have passed.

I for one will wait for my case(s) because I'd like to see Handspring get the Visor's out to all those who ordered in Sept and early Oct. Once they've nailed down the early logistic problems then we'll get our case(s).
