In checking the Nexian site (I usally check the Navicom site) I found the following:
http://www.nexian.co.kr/letter.htm
Based on the letter it looks like first customer shipments will occur 10 June of this year. Maybe Navicom/Nexian is starting to get a clue
.
Take care,
Jerry
Some comments:
1) Thanks for the last posting; I didn't realize Nexian had another site (eventhough it is the same as Navicom's). I usually checked the US-based site, www.nexian.com.
2) What happened with their deal with QuoVadis? They don't seem to mention them anymore when they talk about their mapping programs/databases. Did they have a fallout with QV because QV was also feedup with their lack of support and endless delays? It looks like QV is preparing to be a more "flexible" mapping company by offering compatibility with many GPS modules instead of having an exclusive deal with Navicom. Good for them...
3) It's about time that Navicom begins to communicate with their potential customers. It's good to see an apology letter from them. Although, it may be a matter of "too little, too late". We'll see....
Well Navicom has it in their FAQ as June 27, which is the first day of PCExpo. I believe this date more, but it would be great to get it sooner (I'll be plenty busy already
).
