-- Date Book - Changing one date of repeated event (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=8369)

Question

I am a new user of a Visor Deluxe. When using the Date Book I frequently use the repeat entry function because my kids have things that take place every week. If I try to change the description for one week of the repeating event, my Visor changes the description for all weeks of the repeating event.

It does come up and ask if I want to change for Current, All, Previous, or Future events, but even when I choose only the current date it changes all occurrances.

Has anyone else had this problem? Also, is there a support site for Visor, I don't see one listed on VisorCentral? Do they post patches for software and can the Visor software even be fixed by and update patch?

Any help would be appreciated, I am getting concerned that I purchased the wrong brand of handheld!

The description is the only thing that cannot be changed in a repeat event (at least this is how DateBk4 works). I believe this is a "feature" and not a "bug".

As for the support site, this is one of the better ones you'll find . There's a wealth of information in these message boards. Try searching for the topic you need help with and you'll probably find it here. If not, just ask... someone will answer you or at least point you in the right direction.
