-- Rechargable Battery Springboard Board Module? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=5357)
Has anyone heard of plans to release a springboard that acts as an additional battery pak for the Visor. I know there is a new product that will be out to provide a rechargable option to the exising AAA's but I am looking for a springboard module that will provide additonal power beyone the AAA slots.
Interesting concept. Could be especially useful when the color Visor comes out.

Maybe I'm missing something here. But I check SpringPort pin-out. It only allow sending power to SpringBoard Module, but not otherwise around. Unless you connect to AAA battery slot directly.
Li-Ion battery for Nokia phone fit SB Module just right. It can store a lot more juice than NiCad battery. Maybe soon, Visor will be power by miniture fuel cell
(forget the link for miniture fule cell, but Motorola is doing research in that area.) That'll will keep visor running for at least a year.

What a brilliant idea!
I posed that question on one of the Palm newsgroups before the Visor got into everyone's hot little hands, and if memory serves, someone who claimed to have a fair bit of understanding of the architecture said that it just wasn't feasible. You might get lucky and find the thread on remarq or deja.
