EyeContact importing pictue problem
I own VDX and EM2. When attaching picture to address record in EyeContact application I can capture image but can't "choose" it from existing database. Every time I try to "choose" a picture I get "Fatal exception".Does anybody experienced the same problem using EyeContact application?
The reply from support was try to reinstall SW. But it didn't help. Now I'm waiting for CF module to check everything on clean device...
suggestion...
This could be a long shot, but...
Try deleting your eyemodule2 software, and then reinstall your images with eyedrop. That may help if the issue was a bad pointer.
I had an eyecontact problem where I could capture but not choose, only without the fatal exception. The image would just be blurred beyond recognition. The culprit turned out to be a wallpaper program I have, BackdropGC, which allows the user to select which apps will have the wallpaper applied. I unchecked eyecontact from BGC, which eliminated the problem. If you have the same program, check it out.

I'm still trying to fix it
Thank you for suggestions. In fact I've never use BackdropGC application. As for jenesis advise - if I delete eyemodule2 SW I delete databases as well. In such a case I can't import pictures using eyedrop. After EM2 is inserted (no pictures was taken) I can import JPEG but result of pressing "choose" button is... well Fatal Error. I'm eager to receive my FlashPlus adapter. I will do hard reset and import only eyecontact application. I wonder if I receive the same Fatal Error... BTW my VDX has no DRAM Memory bug. Lets see...
Whoops, I should have been more clear. What I meant to say was that you could try deleting the eyemodule2 sw from your Visor, which will remove all your pictures. Then plug in the module to reinstall the eyemodule2 sw only. Then use eyedrop on your PC/Mac to put images back onto your Visor from your computer. Maybe then it will work.
I did exactly as you said. IMHO it hardly can be done in different way
)))) The same result - FatalError. When I receive my FlashPlus I'll do some tests on clean VDX and share results. Thank you for your advices.
