Well I finally went and ordered the Visor Deluxe. I went for the graphite colour as I didn't want people to think I was a fan of the I-MAC. Gotta hate those translucent colours!

Sorry I think I screwed up your count by mentioning my green one twice (three times now), by my count there is still only one green mentioned here. And yes I am feeling very special indeed.

This should look snappy although the quality of the plastic used will have a great effect on this. I guess I'll just have to wait till I get mine Also, I get the feeling that most of the Springboards will be black so .....

Ok, I buckled. I originally ordered a Graphite Visor Deluxe and was going to stick with it because of its understated look. But I just called them and changed it to the ICE -- different, but not too stand-out-ish.

My reason for ordering Ice is because:

1. It's not too loud or annoying. I can imagine getting sick of Orange or Green after a few months.
2. People will know it's not a Palm Pilot. I want Pilot users to know that I'm not using their weak little hardware...

So yeah, it's basically to make my Visor a status symbol.

OK, I wasn't going to order until they started taking orders online, but I was getting impatient. So I am on hold now with Handspring. I'm going to order ICE. It doesn't stand out, but its different. Everything is grey/black (my cellphone, N64, car, stereo, etc...)

Am I the only guy on the planet who ordered green? I was thinking about changing to ice, but now that I see nobody else has that one, you know, that has an appeal to me. Methinks I'll stay green. If they offered Purple, the Ultimate Color, I'd get that, but they don't and Green is the Second Most Ultimate Color. Hey, they make colored Playstation cases in Hong Kong and Taiwan that you have to put on yourself, maybe in a while they'll start offering custom cases you have to manually apply from overseas sometime. Kiss your warranty goodbye, though.....
