-- 8MB Flash Module (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=13331)
Hi,
I flashed my 8MB Flash Module with my own program (with Palm Debugger) for testing purposes and now I'd like to restore it back to its original functionality, but it doesn't work..
When I tried to format it, FileMover tells me "The memory module is not present or is not recognized".
The 8MB Update program says it's "Incompatible with Update".
Perhaps the FAT info is lost and I needed something like fdisk to allow FileMover to format the module. I know the Flash Module is not damaged, as I can still flash in my programs.
Can someone tell me how to restore the Flash Module or send me the original .bin file?
thanks in advance,
jojo
why not send back for repair ?

may be a stupid question, but have you tried the hs developers resource pages. i have found everything i have need there. i haven't tried to reformat a module yet. i'll try it and see if i have the same problem.
You can force the 8MB Updater to fix your card by doing the following:
1. Run the 8MB Updater
2. While HOLDING the scroll-DOWN button, Tap the 'Update Now' button.
3. You will receive a warning message. Answer 'OK' to the 'Update Anyway?' prompt.
WARNING: Make sure you only do this if you're SURE the card inserted is your 8MB module!
