-- List View with To Do items? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=1902)

Question

One of the features I was looking forward to using in the Date Book + is the List View (6th icon out of the 6) which according to the advertisements as well as the manual (page 95 at the top):
"The List View is a text-oriented view that is integrated with To Do List. It displays a list of events and To Do items for the selected week(s)."

I cannot get a To Do item to appear in the list, and I have tried the various Preferences; certainly All should include the applicable To Do item. I am sure the date is correct because I added a test To Do item with tomorrow's date. Anybody else have this problem or the solution?

BTW: I ordered an Ice and Green simultaneously on Nov 14th. The Ice arrived Dec 16th via FedEx; the Green = ??? on backorder.

Go to the Week view (3rd icon from left), drop down the menu, and select To Do Preferences.

You'll need to select which categories you wish to have displayed as well as set some other options to your preferences.

Thanks Larry -- I never would have guessed it was in only that View. I wonder how difficult it would be for them to modify the program to show it in the List view as well.

I can't think it would be very hard... I was surprised to find it worked that way. Your question caught my interest, because I knew that I had seen my tasks in that view previously, but only one old task was showing when I went to research the issue.

Turns out that I just recently started categorizing my tasks, so only the one old one that I missed categorizing was showing up. I needed an answer to your question and didn't even know it yet.
