-- where do you carry your Visor/Palm? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=1017)

Cool

My visor is always on my belt and always in it's Rhinoskin shock suit. It works great. I leave my pda panache stylus in the internal visor stylus holder because I am afraid of losing it on the suit's exterior holder. I even use my Visor in the supermarket running handyshopper. The clip of the shocksuit attaches perfectly to the shopping basket. People do think I am doing inventory but hey it works for me.

I carry mine in the HandSpring's Belt Clip case.

I carry mine in hand in the slip case.

...or, in the slip case in my front pocket while wearing a suit or khakis.

...or, in a little pocket in the inside of my 3-ring binder, zippered portfolio.

I'm a woman, so I carry mine in my purse. But I have a suggestion for you guys. My father lost a wallet once out of an inner suitcoat pocket when I put it in the overhead rack on an airplane. Ever since, when he buys a new suit or sportcoat, he has them sew on a button and a loop on that pocket. If he has something important, he can button the pocket closed -- then nothing will fall out by accident. Could work with a Visor as well! (And if buttoning it is annoying, you can always choose not to button it!) It seems a simple solution.

I used to carry it around in my shirt pocket but not only was it uncomfortable, after falling out of my pocket 3 times (lucky me, no damage ) I decided that I would take the plunge and wear it proudly on my right hip, ready to go at a moments notice! I use the E&B Slipper (Black) which I think is a great case. I just tell anyone who asks, "I am a hip geekster, need anyone's number?".

I actually really like the belt clip, it is very convenient and secure. I no longer worry about dropping it or forgetting it anywhere.

Question

Pesently I carry it in my left front pants pocket. I have been looking for the right case that will work with spingboards.

Talking

Tried several ways to carry my Visor. Went back to the Visor belt clip case after trying the Palm III leather belt clip case with velcro top and Rhino Shock Suit.

The Visor plastic belt clip case keeps the visor closer to my body and less likely to snag on something. (I get in and out of my vehicle 30 or more times a day.)

I ordered an E&B leather slipper case with belt clip to try. We'll see.

Wink

I carry my GVD In my right Cargo Pants Pocket. And Cargo Pants are great for holding all kinds of other kewl stuff.
I also saw some Cargo pants in a recent JcPenney or something catalog with 4 small pockets (that looks like they would hold spring boards oh so nicely).

Cool

Lets see...

In jeans: either the front right pocket, or the back if I'm on the way to the car.

With cargos it goes in the side pocket... very nice fit actually.

At school, it's proudly displayed on my desk space!
(no I don't go to public school ;-) no offense to those of you to whom it may concern

In my RhinoSkin 1100, in my bag... double protection.

I carry my case in a duel shoulder holster.
I construced the shoulder straps out of web belting. And the holster that the visor sits in is an ammo clip holster for wide ammo. The entire thing is unmistakeable from an accual shoulder holster for a handgun with the exception for the visor-holster and the extra padding inside of the case. On the opposing side I have mounted a secondary pouch for accessories like my usb connector cable and springboards. Underneath my jacket it is invisible. I however feel it is more protected than it would be clipped to my belt. Previous to my visor I had a palmIIIx and it was in a belt clip case. I am 6'4" an d my palmIIx met its untimely end when it lost a fight with the doornob of an opening door.

<no, I didn't die or disappear, just too busy at work to hang out around here much.>

I carry mine in 3 different places:

1. Lab coat upper left pocket, if I'm wearing one. (I'm a Clinical Pharmacist at a teaching hospital)

2. Shirt pocket if I'm wearing a shirt with one.

3. Left front pants pocket if it's one of those ever-more-common polo shirt days.

In the first 2 cases (no pun intended) I use no case or cover, but I'm careful to keep the screen against my chest so that pens, etc, are less likely to scratch. In the 3rd, I use the plastic snap on cover.
