-- Help, Won't Sync (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=9156)
Hey, I tried to sync this morning when dicovered it wasn't working. I hit the HotSync button, the BVD responded, but couldn't connect with the computer. Since I had to rush out the door, I just hit cancel and decided to figure it out later. I did some more testing later and found out that the visor isn't appearing in device manager like it ususally does during a HotSync (I have a USB cradle). My batteries are fine, nothing (visually) wrong with the contacts on the visor/cradle. All that happens is it won't connect to the computer. The computer doesn't even know it's there. Any ideas?

Try the old standby... soft reset the Visor and then do another sync.

Thanks for me also
I had the same problem, so I checked the Troubleshooting discussions, came across this thread, tried the solution and am now "in sync" (sorry, couldn't help that).
VisorCentral comes through for me again!

Perform a soft reset on your device. Use tip of a paper clip or similar object without a sharp tip to gently press the reset button inside the hole on the back panel of your handheld. The hole is labeled "Reset." - you will not lose any data.
