Help on getting Set Up

Hey All,

I need help figuring out what I need to do what I want. Here's the deal...I need to be able to sync my work computer calendar and information with my home computer.

Work: Windows NT, Office 2000, Outlook for email and calendar
Home: Windows 98, Office 95, Outlook express

Accesories: cradle hooked up to home USB hub.

What do I need to make both systems talk to each other? Do I need to upgrade software? OS? Do I need to buy Outlook for my home computer? What do I get another cradle or serial cable for my work computer?

I'd also like to be able to dial into the work network while on the road. What modules do I need to do that also?

Thanks for all the help

You will need a serial cradle for your work PC, Unless you plan to upgrade/downgrade the OS.

I believe the Handspring disk comes with the program you need to sync with outlook.

Outlook and out look express are two different animals. I would upgrade your home PC to outlook.

To dial into your work with your ________ (insert name here), you will need a modem. The ThinModem are good. Unless you want to do wireless then I would do the visor phone.

My Treo 600 is my phone, my PDA, my watch, and my MP3 player. Oh yeah, I take a picture once in a while with it. Convergence is such a great thing.
