When I got my Visor deluxe, I didn't have
Outlook 2k. I have since gotten it and would like to use its data with the visor.

I've been told that I need to reload the Palm Desktop and it will add the hotsync for Outlook.

Question. After this is done, do you no longer use the Palm Desktop? Or do you, can you use both?

You can use both, but there is no need to use Palm Desktop if you are using OL2K as both ar PIMs (personal information managers) and serve the same functionality. I use OL2K for many reasons, the important one being the ability to sync my office contacts/todo/notes/calender to my home desktop.
