To upgrade or not to upgrade

I'm not seeing a real strong reason to buy the upgrade to 6.0 on my Prism with a Memplug-CF, unless the VFS support on the Memplug will work well enough to start parking files on my CF card. Partly that's because I can't tell which features in James' list in his story are new vs. what I have now on vers 5.6

The maintainer of the LaunchPlug site for memplug users reported on the Yahoo Memplug list that this new QuickOffice doesn't work with MemPlugs, even though QO says it has VFS support. I hadn't heard if anybody else has confirmed this though. He does say that it may be a result of a conflict with some other software on his prism though.

My main reason for upgrading would be for VFS support, so until I get some confirmation, I think I'll be holding off on upgrading. I've got numerous reference books and regulations that I would like to offload onto my Memplug. From the new features list at the QuickOffice website, VFS support is really the only new enhancement that I want.

Question Comparison to Docs To Go

Anybody care to offer an opinion as to whether this new version is better than the DataViz app?

I can't believe that this version is worth the ridiculous upgrade price of $19.95 from version 5.x
I won't be upgrading...

Unhappy

I think the VFS support is meant for those Palms with BUILT-IN Memory Card... ie; Palm m500 series, m125 and m130, as well as the SONY Clies.

And do not forget that those PDAs mentioned above are using Palm OS 4 and ABOVE.... the Visor Prism that we all know and love is only using OS 3.5

How sad.
Also one more thing. We cannot transfer files directly to card, whereas for Palm and Sony, it's possible.

I somehow regret the decision of getting my Prism
Darn.

I WANT VFS SUPPORT!!!!

If not, at least I want my MemPlug/FlashPlus CF adapter to support CF-IO cards... like a wireless lan CF card, or a BlueTooth CF card.

Argh....
