I bought a Dell Digital Audio Receiver, and this thing is very good.

In a nutshell, it's a closed box that networks to my PC and can play any MP3 file (or WMA file) on the PC. It supports both Ethernet and HomePNA, and it has a built-in amplifier. I currently have one in my bedroom (with two bookshelf speakers), but it can be hooked up anywhere in my house where there's a phone jack.
