I have a VDX with the Omniremote software. So far the software works great. I was wondering if anyone can instruct me to reprogram the 6 silver buttons so that I can assign them to ir commands with omniremote.
For example I want to make the two verticle buttons in the middle my volume up/down.

In OmniRemote, goto the menubar Options, Preferences. At the top of the latter window, select the hardware button you want to configure. I use the up/down buttons for volume, as you also plan to do, and the other 4 buttons for macro commands. I've been using this great software to control 5 different AV units!
