HELP! I am a new Visor Deluxe user. We have Windows 95, but with full USB support (we use a USB scanner and digital camera all the time). The guy at CompUSA said the Visor USB cradle would work fine with this setup (even though the Visor box said no USB for Windows 95).
Does anyone know why the Visor won't work with Windows 95 USB when all other USB devices work fine or how to get around the Visor software not allowing you to choose the USB option if it detects Windows 95? I am pretty anxious to Hot Sync!

Got my handspring dec 24th at 10 a.m. Tried installing the usbsupp.exe. to make a long story short ... call handspring back, ask the same question preceeded w/ "when I called before ordering. . ."

The handspring techie responded with "Oops."

Turns out there is no way to get it to work

Your only sync option with Win95 is serial. Unfortunately, the USB support in Win95 is not compatable with the Visor's USB drivers. If I remember correctly, Win95's USB is based on USB v1.0 and Win98's is v1.1... a much enhanced version.
