-- VDX @ Target for $199 (their price!) this week ($149 after HS rebate!) (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=13872)

Talking

VDX on sale at Target (yup! www.target.com, follow the weekly sales flier link, it's not in electronics that I could find).

It's Target's price, so you should be able to use the HS rebate for a bottom line of $149.99 !!

(relocated the comma after the URL tag close, which had been put in automatically on the original posting)

Your link doesn't work.

You just have to remove the spurious comma he accidentally inserted:

www.target.com

Stupid post on my part. I didn't even see that.

The comma would be grammatically correct, but the spurious software doesn't recognize that when creating the link.

Commas can actually appear in URLs, so the spurious program wasn't necessarily making a bad assumption.

I was able to get Best Buy to do a price match on the VDX, to come down to Targets price.

Wink

Not only can you get the Deluxe for $199, but if you apply for a Target credit card you get an additional 10% off on the spot! That $250 Visor Deluxe now costs only $130!!!! The Target deal and the rebate are what convinced me to take the plunge. I've had my Visor for a week and I LOVE IT!!!

Handspring has extended their $50 rebate from April 15th, to April 30th. Does anyone think that Handspring is thinking about dumping the Visor and Deluxe from their product lineup?

From what people say Palm's low-cost m100/105 are very popular. I can't see HS dumping the Vdx and conceding the low-end of the market to Palm. On the other hand they may not be able to keep selling Vdx's for the full $250.
